Bipindi Grand-Zambi and Kribi Lobé Iron Mining Projects

The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute, arrived in Kribi on Sunday, September 21, 2025, to preside over a series of landmark events in the South Region.

He was accorded a warm and ceremonial welcome by the Governor of the South Region, and the Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development, Prof. Fuh Calistus Gentry, alongside local administrative and traditional authorities.

The visit marks the inauguration of the transformation units of the Bipindi Grand-Zambi Iron Project and the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Sinosteel Mineral Terminal, scheduled for Monday, September 22, 2025.

In preparation, the Minister of Mines, Prof. Fuh Calistus, who has been in Kribi since last Friday, carried out an inspection tour of the project sites to ensure that all arrangements were in place for the smooth conduct of the ceremonies, which will be presided over by the Prime Minister.
