The Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development (ai), Professor FUH CALISTUS GENTRY, granted an official audience this Friday, 13 February, to the Chief of Kako-NGBWAKO Canton, who was accompanied by six traditional chiefs and several elites from the mining town of KAMBÉLÉ in the Eastern Region.

During the discussions, the Head of this Ministerial Department reaffirmed the Government’s support and assistance for the preservation of their heritage.

Prof. FUH CALISTUS GENTRY also called on the traditional authorities and elites present to ensure compliance with the Mining Code in order to safeguard their interests.

The meeting, held in the Conference room of the Ministry of COMMERCE, concluded in a friendly atmosphere.
