The new manager of NESTLÉ Central Africa at MINMIDT

Thomas CASO Directeur de Nestlé

Minister ERNEST GBWABOUBOU of Mines, Industry and Technological Development received in audience on Friday, March 09, 2018 Thomas CASO, the new Director General Zone Central Africa of the Nestlé House.

The Minister encouraged his visitor to feel at home here in Cameroon, land of investors. The head of the dairy company that exists in Cameroon for over 50 years has presented technical problems to MINMIDT namely access to the raw material in a bid to promote local production of starch, compliance with standards, and the fear of a most overwhelming tax burden for most of the big investors.

The Minister has prescribed that the said elements of tax pressure be transmitted to him in correspondence that will address these practical aspects of the business sector with the Prime Minister.

The CEO has made an appointment with the MINMIDT Cameroon Businness Forum which opens Monday Next in Douala.

The hearing was completed at 16 hours and 15 minutes.
